How does Hockey Canada address maltreatment?

A safe environment for all
Safe sport is about making sport a place where participants can learn, compete, and have fun without fear of maltreatment — such as abuse, bullying, harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behaviour.

A confidential reporting mechanism
One of the ways Hockey Canada increases the safety of the hockey environment is through offering a confidential mechanism to report maltreatment.

Independent administration
Hockey Canada has appointed external experts in safe sport, Sport Dispute Management Inc., to administer its maltreatment complaints independently.
